We are dedicated to breeding exceptional AKC French Bulldogs without compromising on breed standard structure, health, or temperament. We never settle for anything less than the best and neither should you!
We are a small, indoor hobby breeding operation. As French Bulldog breeders it is our aim to improve the breed, never for the sake of profit. This is not our main source of income and we do not rely upon it in any way - this is a PASSION. We breed solely to produce higher quality dogs for our program. All our breedings are carefully thought out and planned generations in advance with specific goals in mind. What we don't keep we make available to the public under strict terms.
We breed less than most breeders - only 1-2 litters per year, but that allows us to dedicate more time and resources into raising our litters and providing a high standard of care and quality of life for our beloved dogs.
We take everyone's preferences into consideration, but based upon which pup we think is the best fit, we may provide homes with a choice between pups in a litter or even chose for them. While we do not breed to fulfill waitlists, we do keep a paid waiting list for serious buyers (message us for more details).
Our pups are ready to go to their new homes no sooner than 10 weeks of age so that we can work with them through the majority of their crucial socialization period. We raise our pups using Puppy Culture to encourage the development of well socialized, adaptable pups. We may still, however, keep them for as long as we see fit to best evaluate their structure*. The puppies we let go are strictly for pet homes unless going to another small program that has been vetted and approved in advance. Pups we feel are breeding/show quality that we let go will be sold on co-own only.
*A note about AKC registration:
Because all our pups are potential keepers and because we may keep them longer than even 4 months of age, all our pups will be registered by us under the PEERLESS name.
PEERLESS is manned by a military family of 4. We are one United States Army Veteran, one active duty soldier, and our two little troopers, ages 6 and 8. Between us, we have a combined total of 4 deployments to Afghanistan, and are proud to have served and to continue to serve our country. We all do our part in raising our Frenchies as family.
We are not a kennel - our dogs are our family and strictly in-home with us. They eat with us, they sleep with us, they play with us. They are socialized in our homes with our own children and never want for anything. We spare no expense in their care nor in choosing the highest quality studs and females for our program.
We put a great deal of work into our litters when it comes to their socialization and preparation for a new home including crate training, litter box training as well as a start on house breaking, introduction to nail dremmeling, leash training and basic commands like "sit" and "heel". All pups go home with at least their first round of vaccinations, deworming, and microchiped.
The prices of our pups are not based on sex, color, or DNA - prices are based upon overall quality and factors such as pedigree and titles of studs/dams.
That our pups go only to the most loving and caring homes is our highest priority and a duty we take very seriously. All our pups will have 1 month of free health insurance coverage effective immediately with no waiting period and no pay out limits provided by Trupanion - buyers simply call to activate within 24 hours of pick up, no payment info needed.
Our Frenchie puppies will be built to impress with pedigrees to match. Our lines draw primarily from European blood including standard lines such as Gold-Sierra, Smokey Valley, De La Purure, Belboulecan, Glenlee, Von Glandorf, Von Der Monarchia and even a World Champion - World Champion Montblanc Dell'Akiris. The very same dogs in our pedigrees can be found in the pedigrees of some of the top standard French Bulldogs in the world (Avigdors Troubadour for Frustyle, IFrenchies Alpha Omega, and Dicar I'm Special). Other notable standard European lines in our pedigrees include Nagyerdoi Champion, Tisza-parti Jopofa-Top-Pofa, and Sopianae Impirator. Our most recent breeding has incorporated Dicar, Kingfriend, Daulokke & Avigdor’s bloodlines into the mix.
Our colored bloodlines are just as impressive. Our lines are heavy in Iz Russkoi Skazki including Once in a Blue Moon and Kromvel Iz Russkoi Skazki (Beast Nector of the God's littermate). Other greats include Don Choc, Curly's Topaz Treasure and son Curly's Trinity Treasure (Bolt), Kingsblood Kriss and Buffalo Run lines, Shark lines, Crouch's Lilac Loki, La Morena lines, and La Vie En Chocolat. If pedigrees are your thing look no further.
All our Frenchies undergo extensive health screenings, both genetic and physical, including OFA certifications. Any outside studs we use are also health tested. We believe our commitment to health and structure is what will set us apart and better the breed.
PEERLESS breeds for open nares and for clean breathers. You will not see our French Bulldogs panting while idle. Our Frenchies should be expected to have perfect ear sets, fine top lines, rear angulation, beautiful action, very short and low set tails, correct bites with tongues that fit correctly in the mouth, and very expressive faces. Our Frenchies are proportionate, of good bone and muscle and neither over done nor "lean/sporty", too long, too low, or any other "style" - we breed as close to breed standard as possible.
Our OFA certifications are public record. You can review them anytime on the OFA's website by typing in the registered name.

This is an incredibly special breeding and the first of its kind! BOTH are 2nd generation OFA CHIC certified with all normal scores (their parents are as well!). Their litter will be all black-masked fawns like Honey or fawn pieds (white markings like Hannibal). This is an extraordinary first in the name of hip health and we expect phenomenal quality in this litter in every aspect from temperament, breed type, structure, and best of all HEALTH!
Pictures of their 2 fawn girls, 2 red fawn males, and 1 red fawn pied son will be coming soon to our Available page!
PEERLESS French Bulldogs will now be covering the cost of each of our pup's first Puppy Class!
It is no longer recommended that puppies be fully vaccinated before beginning a puppy class. The window for the most crucial socialization is very small and the risk of developing serious behavior issues from a lack of proper socilazation far out weighs the risk of illness from exposure to pups of similar age and vaccination history. Puppy classes must be started A.S.A.P.!
"The Primary and most important time for puppy socialization is the first three
months of life. During this time puppies should be exposed to as many new people,
animals, stimuli and environments as can be achieved safely and without causing over-
stimulation manifested as excessive fear, withdrawal or avoidance behavior. For this
reason, the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior believes that it should
be the standard of care for puppies to receive such socialization before they are fully vaccinated."
A lack of proper socialization at this very young age can lead to a variety of undesirable behaviors including fear and aggression. Behavior issues are the number one reason families choose to part with their pets! For this reason, we are implementing this new program to encourage our puppy families to be proactive and continue the training and early socialization that we've already worked so hard to start your puppy on.
The best part: we’ll pay for it! The class can be any Beginner Puppy Class of your choice and we will refund a cost of up to $185 upon receiving confirmation of completion within the first 3 months that you have your puppy (ideally this class should be started right away). Taking a puppy class is not only a wonderful way to cement a bond with your pup but also to ensure that they develop into a happy, well adjusted and well behaved adult that you can proudly take anywhere with you! Please take advantage of this important program that ONLY WE OFFER!
We are proud members of AKC's Bred With H.E.A.R.T program! As members we certify our breeding stock is health tested in accordance with the FBDCA's recommendations (and beyond in our case), we stay up to date on the best breeding practices and advances in canine health, we comply with the AKC Care
and Conditions policy, AKC inspections and continuing education, we accept responsibility for the health and well-being of our puppies, and proudly uphold AKC's tradition of breeding healthy and happy purebred dogs.
PEERLESS French Bulldogs is honored to be recognized as EXCELLENT in the Good Dog responsible breeding program for our health testing. French Bulldog breeders must test ALL breeding stock on hips, elbows, patellas, spines, and hearts in order to achieve this ranking. Very few breeders, whether they produce standard colors or not, qualify for this rank and in addition to those tests we also test thyroid, eyes, trachea and full DNA panels through Embark. We are excited to be part of a trusted community of like-minded breeders on a mission to better the breed!
After having completed every health test recommended for French Bulldogs by the OFA and French Bulldog Club of America, Grand Champion Hannibal now qualifies for the Canine Health Information Center (CHIC) certification. Although any dog that completes the recommended tests and allows their results to be public may qualify, passing scores are not a requirement. With that being said, it is with great pride that we can announce that Hannibal has PASSED all tests with normal scores and even exceeded our expectations. His PennHIP score is now the BEST average PennHIP score for the breed in the OFA database!
GrCh. Hannibal is now closed to the public. He will complete all contracted breedings through the end of 2024, but new contracts will no longer be accepted.
We are beyond proud to annouce that our Hannibal has earned the title of Grand Champion! There are many registries now allowing color Frechies. ABKC has earned the reputation of high caliber competition as many of the French Bulldogs shown in this registry also earn Champion titles in AKC. It is for this reason we chose ABKC; we wanted our boy to compete against the best. And that he did - Hannibal’s title comes after competing against almost exclusively standard French Bulldogs, many of whom are imported and from prestigious bloodlines.
This achievement marks only the 2nd time a lilac French Bulldog has ever attainted the title of Grand Champion (the first being his very own sire) in this registry or any other to our knowledge. It is also the first time there has been 2 generations in a row of Grand Champions, and makes Hannibal the youngest lilac Grand Champion to date (1yr 9m).
Your application must be submitted and approved before we can place you on the list. A $500 non-refundable Holding/Admin Fee is required if you wish to make a pick and acquire a pup from any litter. Details on available pups will be posted on our Available page along with the link to Good Dog for secure payment.
