 When we use the term “personal information” in this Privacy Notice, we mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to an individual. This information is voluntarily supplied to us by you in our Pet Application and is required in order for you to use our service. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but by doing so, we may not be able to process your application and provide our service.

Identifiers such as: contact Information, including first and last name, middle initial, suffixes and prefixes, email address, mailing address and phone number and communication preferences. Personal information categories listed in the California Customer Records statute (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e)) that we collect: name, signature, address, telephone number and employment.

Commercial information regarding personal property (home ownership vs rental), and pets obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or histories or tendencies in the context of pets.

Professional or employment-related information such as: current job title or employment status.

Inferences drawn from other personal information reflecting a person’s preferences, hobbies, and activity level to aid us in paring them with a pet that matches their lifestyle.

We do not collect protected classification characteristics under California or federal law, e.g. Age (40 years or older), race, color, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, religion or creed, marital status, medical condition, physical or mental disability, sex (including gender, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy or childbirth and related medical conditions), sexual orientation, veteran or military status, genetic information (including familial genetic information). We do, however, offer discounts to United States Military veterans if they disclose their veteran status on their own.

We also obtain personal information from third parties, automatically collected on how and when you engage with us. We typically collect this information through a variety of tracking technologies, including (i) cookies or small data files that are stored on an individual’s computer and (ii) other, related technologies, such as web beacons, pixels, embedded scripts, mobile SDKs, location-identifying technologies and logging technologies (collectively, “tracking technologies”) and we may use third-party partners or technologies to collect this information. Information we collect automatically about you may be combined with other personal information we collect directly from you or receive from other sources.
