Hannibal  is a lilac fawn pied pretty boy carrying tan points and cream!

This boy is the sweetest thing! He is both fearless and gentle, and  never barks. His temperament is simply flawless.

The first thing you may notice is his striking coat and shine. He carries only a single copy of the Intensity Dilution Gene (I/In) meaning his coat has a unique orange/gold hue. Combined with his beautiful white markings he is one flashy boy!

Structurally, he is extremely well rounded with tight paws, a perfect earset, a nice round croup along with a low set tail, and nice underjaw and  layback.  Hannibal's perfectly silent breathing is a trait we highly value and that he generously passes on to his litters. He is the complete package and  truly  balanced!

He's a quiet soul that will get along with everyone. Just watch out if you have sandals on - he's a toe licker!

Hannibal is OFA CHIC  certified (Canine  Health  Information  Center) .  This  certification  represents  the  highest  level  of  health  testing  available  to  this  breed   and  requires  the  following  OFA  certifications  as  recommended  by  the  French  Bulldog  Club  of  America:  Patellas, Cardiac, Eyes, Elbows, and  Hips.  Hannibal‘s  results  are  100%  normal  and  clear  and  his  PennHIP score  (RDI = 0.30 & LDI = 0.28)  is  the  OFA's highest average score for  the  breed!  He  is  also  OFA  certified  for normal  Trachea  -  free of Tracheal Hypoplasia. Hannibal’s  DNA  health  clearances  include Canine Multifocal Retinopathy, Degenerative Myelopathy, Hyperuricosuria, Cystinuria Type 3,  and  the  newly  identified  Upper  Airway  Obstructive  Syndrome  (AdamTS3  gene)  which  effects  even  non-brachycephalic breeds.  His  result  of  zero  copies  of  this  gene  comes  as  no  surprise  as  he  is  one  of  the  cleanest  and  clearest  breathers  that   we  have  come  across  in  this  breed. And just to make it official - he is also OFA RFGS Grade 0, meaning that he is unaffected and free of any signs of Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome a.k.a BOAS.

Meryl is our blue trindle daughter to Margot (retired) and GrCh Hannibal. She is an energetic and highly intelligent girl with a lot of drive. She's a huge personality and we love her silly antics. This girl can get away with anything when she gives you those big puppy dog eyes and she knows it! We absolutely adore this precious princess!

Meryl has the round eyes we look for in this breed, a perfect earset, a nice tight lip and expression, fantastic reach and drive in her gait, a perfect tail that is nicely low set, round croup, and no shortage of wrinkles on her adorable face. She impresses with her thick and powerful rear assembly, great bone, and her square, straight front.

She is Upper Airway Obstructive Syndrome (AdamTS3 gene) clear by parentage and we're thrilled she has inherited her sire's clear breathing and athleticism.

Meryl is 4 panel clear (DM, HUU, CMR1, JHC) and OFA CHIC certified, and OFA RFGS Grade 1 (unaffected by BOAS). 

Meryl is also AKC DNA profiled.
